About Me
Hi, I’m Anastasia Androschuk
I was born in a small town where beautiful houses could be counted on one hand, and the fences were often brighter than the facades themselves. Maybe that’s what sparked my passion for harmony. Since childhood, I was that kid who could never leave a room alone: rearranging furniture, hanging handmade posters, painting the walls with watercolors (my mom still remembers that “masterpiece” with a nervous laugh).
In school, I realized I had a unique way of seeing spaces — noticing how light falls into a room, how the color of curtains changes the mood, how one single decor item can bring an entire interior to life. It felt like a game, but a game with a mission: to make people feel exactly the way they dream of feeling in their own homes.
Education and first steps
Later, I graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Design. Those years taught me not only the technical side of planning but also the art of seeing living stories behind floor plans. Even in my first year, I began taking small projects — helping friends decorate apartments and cafés. One funny memory still makes me smile: a client once said he wanted “everything white… except the cat.” In the end, the cat really did become the main color accent of the project!
Those early projects taught me an important truth: “Design is not about furniture or walls — it’s about the emotions you leave in a space.”
How design became my life’s work
At first, design was just a hobby — something I loved doing in the evenings between studies and other commitments. But the more projects I finished, the more I realized: this was my calling.
The turning point came during a seaside trip with a friend. I showed her photos of a recent project — a small 30 m² studio we transformed into a cozy, stylish, and functional home. She looked at the photos, smiled, and said: “Anya, you have to start a blog. You don’t just do design — you tell stories people want to hear.” I laughed, but the idea stuck. A couple of weeks later, I launched my blog, and it’s been a part of my life ever since.
Why I run this blog
This blog is not just a portfolio or a set of pretty pictures. It’s a place where I share my knowledge, my ideas, and my inspiration. Here you’ll find everything: from decorating a bedroom or kitchen to designing a serene garden or terrace. I love creating solutions for different seasons, moods, and styles.
For me, design should be more than beautiful — it should be alive. Every detail should have a purpose, and the space should become an extension of the person who lives there.
A glimpse at my work
Below you’ll find a few of my projects — from warm, cozy interiors to bold and vibrant designs. Each one is a story told through color, shape, and light.
